Analytics Engineer — Contract (Remote)

Endpoint Advisors is seeking a senior Analytics Engineer on a 12-month contract to design and deliver analytics solutions on Qlik Cloud. This is a hands-on development role focused on data modeling, analytics application development, and partnership with business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain analytics applications and dashboards in Qlik Cloud

• Architect and optimize data models that support reporting, self-service, and downstream analytics

• Develop and tune SQL against source systems and the data warehouse

• Translate business requirements into well-structured, performant deliverables

• Diagnose and resolve issues across the data and presentation layers

• Document data models, load logic, and dashboard specifications

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in business intelligence and analytics development

• Demonstrated production experience with Qlik Cloud, including load script development, set analysis, and the associative data model

• Advanced SQL and strong command of dimensional modeling, including star/snowflake schemas, slowly changing dimensions, and performance tuning

• Proven ability to gather requirements directly from business stakeholders and deliver against them

• Experience working independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Qlik certification (Data Architect, Business Analyst, or Qlik Cloud Services)

• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks)

• Experience with modern transformation tooling (dbt or equivalent)

• Background delivering analytics within a consulting or multi-client environment
